Frame Delivery & Transit Damage

Please inspect your frame as soon as possible after delivery.

Due to the size and nature of our frames, customers are required to carefully inspect their frame and packaging for any signs of damage within 5 days of delivery.

If you believe the frame has been damaged during transit, please contact Puzzle Art Store within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Clear photographs of the damaged frame;
  • Clear photographs of the outer packaging and any damage to the packaging;
  • Photographs of the shipping label; and
  • Your order number.

Please retain all original packaging until the matter has been resolved, as this may be required to assess and/or make a claim for transit damage with the freight provider.

We will assess each reported case and, where appropriate, work with you and the freight provider to resolve the issue.

Important: The 5-day inspection and 7-day notification periods are intended to help us identify and investigate apparent transit damage promptly. They do not exclude or limit any rights or remedies you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other applicable law.

Where the Consumer Guarantees Act applies, nothing in this notice is intended to contract out of, restrict, or otherwise limit your statutory rights under that Act.

For business customers purchasing goods in trade, different rules may apply where the parties have validly agreed to contract out of the Consumer Guarantees Act in accordance with New Zealand law.
